मेरा और जेटली जी का सम्बन्ध 48 वर्षो का था- गोयल
• वे सहपाठी, सहयोगी, सहायक, सखा, शुभचिन्तक, और सहकर्मी थे – गोयल • इमरजेंसी में हम जेल भी गए, हमारे बिच पत्र के माध्यम से सम्पर्क बना रेहता था – गोयल नई दिल्ली 24 अगस्त 2019 : सांसद और पूर्व अध्यक्ष भाजपा दिल्ली विजय गोयल ने जेटली जी के निधन पर अपना शोक व्यक्त करतेहुए कहा मेरा और जेटली जी का सम्बन्ध 48 वर्षों का था। 1971 में पहली बार मैं श्री राम कॉलेज ऑफ़ कॉमर्स में जेटली जी के संपर्क में आयाथा और वो मेरे सीनियर थे। कॉलेज की यूनियन में एक साथ वो प्रेजिडेंट और मैं जॉइंट सेक्रेटरी बने। हमारा साथ विद्यार्थी परिषद् छात्रराजनीती से एक साथ प्रारम्भ हुआ, तब से लगातार चल रहा था। कॉलेज के दिनों में हम लोग दूसरे कॉलेजो में डिबेट के लिए जाते थे। छात्र संघ के आंदोलनों और जय प्रकाश नारायण के आंदोलनों में भी एकसाथ हमने भाग लिया I जब जनता पार्टी बनी तब उनको कार्यकारणी में रखा गया था, पर विद्यार्थी परषिद के दबाव में उन्होंने त्याग पत्र देदिया I वह खाने-पीने के शौकीन थे I उनको परांठे बहुत पसंद थे I चांदनी चौक की जब हमारी हवेली में वह आते थे तो परांठो की ही मांग करतेथे I इमरजेंसी में सबसे पहला जुलूस हमने अरुण जेटली की लीडरशिप में निकाला था I जिसमें वह बाद में गिरफ्तार हो कर जेल चले गए औरपूरे 19 महीने जेल में रहे I मैं और रजत शर्मा बाद में सत्याग्रह कर जेल गए I अरुण जेटली एक अच्छे अंग्रेजी और हिंदी के वक्ता थे I देश के प्रसिद्ध वकीलों में उनकी गिनती होती थी I संगठन और सरकार दोनों में वहलगातार युवाओं का मार्गदर्शन करते थे I सरकार में उन्होंने वित्त और रक्षा समेत कई मंत्रालय की बखूबी जिम्मेदारी संभाली। मोदी सरकारमें नोटेबंदी, जी.एस.टी., एफडीआई उदारीकरण, मैक्रो स्टेबलाइजेशन, बैंक एकीकरण (Bank Consolidation), दिवालियापन और दिवाला(Insolvency and bankruptcy code) में उनका विशेष सहयोग थाI दूसरी पार्टी के नेताओं के साथ भी उनके अच्छे संबंध रहे I मुझे याद है कॉलेज के दिनों में वह मसूरी-शिमला भी घूमने जाया करते थे I सवेरेपहले हम लोधी गार्डन में सैर करते थे और सैर के बाद चाय पीते हुए वार्तालाप होता था I वहां एक जगह जेटली कार्नर के नाम से प्रसिद्ध होगयी थी I अरुण जेटली के जाने से मैंने मित्र साथी और मार्गदर्शक खोया है। उनके रिक्तस्थान को भरना बहुत मुश्किल है I
