NEW DELHI: A clear majority to the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha polls reflects that the "magic" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his leadership worked, said Union Minister Vijay Goel. "It is all about Modi. Modi means development, nation's progress, inclusive growth. The nation has trusted us again. Modi ji addressed the issues of corruption, inflation and lack of development," he told reporters after meeting party President Amit Shah. He further said, "What worked is the magic of Modi ji, of the development he did, of people's trust he had. The youth supported him."
In a dig at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the BJP leader said, "The BJP is winning all seven seats in Delhi. People did not like AAP for their frivolous comments and creating ruckus."
He also slammed the opposition over allegations regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) manipulation.
"They did not have problem with EVMs when they won election. They have made mockery of 900 million voters. People are laughing at them. Now, they should behave properly and help the (BJP) government in taking the nation ahead," Mr. Goel said.
Goel extends his gratitude for making BJP win landslide victory in all seven seats in Lok Sabha polls
New Delhi, May 23, 2019: Union Minister Vijay Goel extended his greetings to Delhi and thanked people for making the Bharatiya Janata Party win all the seven seats in Delhi in the Lok Sabha polls.
Goel said this is the victory of the development agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and of the trust the people of Delhi have reposed in him. Goel said the way people of Delhi has relegated the Aam Aadmi Party to the third position in the polls, it is clear that Kejriwal has lost the faith of the people in Delhi and the BJP would have anyway won even if the AAP had joined hands with the Congress.
Goel said the senseless remarks by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal such as Modi wants to kill him speak volumes about his thinking and mentality. The people of Delhi have rejected Kejriwal’s politics of anarchy, foul-language, and baseless allegations.
Goel said today’s victory is the victory of Modi Ji. Delhi would develop fast if there is a common party in the Centre and in Delhi.

पंजाब केसरी- मिला वेतन : मरीजों के उपचार को लौटे डॉक्टर
पश्चिमी दिल्ली : हिंदूराव अस्पताल में हड़ताल पर गए रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर वेतन मिलने के साथ ही काम पर वापस आ गए हैं। यह हड़ताल मंगलवार को खत्म हो गई। यह अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल सोमवार से शुरू हुई थी। दोपहर को अस्पताल प्रबंधन की ओर से डॉक्टरों की मांगें लिखित रूप से मान ली गई। डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि उन्हें दो माह का वेतन मंगलवार दोपहर को आ चुका है। जबकि बकाया वेतन 24 घंटे के भीतर आने का आश्वासन दिया है।
इसके अलावा सातवें वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों को भी जल्द से जल्द लागू करने का आश्वासन मिला है। डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि वेतन को लेकर उन्हें हर बार समस्या से जूझना पड़ता है। इसलिए उन्होंने नगर निगम और प्रबंधन से दोबारा वेतन न रोके जाने की अपील भी की है। बता दें कि तीन माह से वेतन न मिलने से नाराज डॉक्टरों ने सोमवार को सड़क पर ही ओपीडी लगाकर मरीजों को इलाज किया।
हालांकि, इसका मरीजों को कोई लाभ नहीं हुआ, क्योंकि अस्पताल के मेडिकल स्टोर से हड़ताली डॉक्टरों द्वारा लिखी गई दवाइयां देने से इंकार कर दिया। वहीं, कुछ देर बाद अस्पताल प्रशासन ने कोर्ट के निर्देश का हवाला देकर सड़क पर चल रही ओपीडी बंद करा दी और स्थायी कर्मचारियों की मदद से अस्पताल में ओपीडी सेवा शुरू करवाई।
गोयल ने रेजिडेंट डॉक्टर्स की हड़ताल करवाई खत्म आप पार्टी की केजरीवाल सरकार ने भाजपा शासित एमसीडी के साथ जो सौतेला व्यवहार किया और निगमों को समय पर फंड नहीं दिया, उसके कारण हिंदूराव अस्पताल के रेजिडेंट डाॅक्टर्स तीन महीने से वेतन न मिलने से हड़ताल पर बैठे हुए हैं। केन्द्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल ने कहा कि केजरीवाल सरकार को शर्म आनी चाहिए कि वे एमसीडी के काम करने में बाधा डाल रहे हैं।
गोयल ने अपनी उपस्थिति में ही डॉक्टर्स की हड़ताल खत्म करवाई। हड़ताल पर बैठे डॉक्टरों से मिलने विजय गोयल मंगलवार को अस्पताल पहुंचे जिनके साथ नॉर्थ एमसीडी के मेयर अवतार सिंह भी मौजूद रहे। गोयल धरने पर बैठे डॉक्टरों के साथ करीब तीन घंटे तक रहे।
इस दौरान उन्होंने नॉर्थ एमसीडी आयुक्त वर्षा जोशी से बात की और हिन्दू राव अस्पताल की एमएस संगीता अजमानी को धरना स्थल पर बुलाया। उसके बाद डाॅक्टर्स के साथ उनकी मांगों को लेकर वार्ता की। गोयल तब तक धरना स्थल पर बैठे रहे, जब तक कि रेजिडेंट डाॅक्टर्स की दो महीने की सैलरी उनके बैंक खातों में नहीं आ गई।
फोन पर मिली वेतन आने की जानकारी डॉक्टरों को फोन पर वेतन आने की जानकारी मिली, जिसके बाद हड़ताल खत्म करने का निर्णय लिया। दोपहर एक बजे हड़ताल खत्म होने के बाद अस्पताल के आपातकालीन विभाग में डॉक्टर मरीजों के उपचार के लिए पहुंचे। उधर इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन, दिल्ली मेडिकल एसोसिएशन, फोर्डा सहित तमाम चिकित्सकों के संगठन का समर्थन भी डॉक्टरों को मिला। फोर्डा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष डॉ. सुमेध ने कहा कि डॉक्टरों को वेतन न मिलना चिकित्सीय क्षेत्र के लिए बहुत दुखद है। डॉक्टर मरीजों की सेवा करते हैं, लेकिन डॉक्टरों की सुनने वाला कोई नहीं है।

Union Minister Vijay Goel “prayed for wisdom for Opposition parties” blaming Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) at Rajghat here on Wednesday. He argued that the Opposition parties had come to power “once or multiple times” thanks to the same machines but were blaming them now as they are staring at “defeat” in the Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP South and North West Delhi probables, Ramesh Bidhuri and Hans Raj Hans were also part of the prayer meeting along with other senior office-bearers from the party’s State unit, including Delhi in-charge Shyam Jaju.
“It is a people’s protest to show how those who consider themselves the disciples of Gandhi are today mocking democracy by wrongly blaming the EVMs. We have come to pray at Gandhi’s memorial so that God may provide sanity to the Opposition parties and they do not mock democracy and let the country prosper,” Mr. Goel said.
“The Congress had been in power in the country for several decades, but it never found any fault with the EVMs then. Now when another party has come to power, the EVMs have suddenly become an eyesore. Why the EVMs were good when the Congress won the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, and in 2015 when AAP won the Delhi elections,” he questioned.
EVMs, he argued, were being used “as a pretext” to “hide imminent electoral defeat” and to “shun” public humiliation. Mr. Goel said, everyday some or other “technical issue” is being raked up so that the recently-concluded elections “lose credibility” in an attempt to “invalidate the votes of 90 crore people.”
“UP politicians were found to be saying that the EVMs which have not been deployed in the elections should also get the same security which the EVMs in use receive. They don’t know that even those machines are secured. They were talking of waging civil war on the issue of EVMs. Criticising and assaulting the constitutional institutions are their only goals,” Mr. Goel added.

New Delhi, May 22, 2019: Union Minister and “Lok Abhiyan” President Vijay Goel and MP Ramesh Bidhuri today held a prayer meeting with hundreds of supporters at Rajghat and said that almost every party blaming EVMs today has come to the power once or multiple times using the same EVMs, but now when they are set to face the defeat in the Lok Sabha Elections, they have begun blaming the EVMs for their loss. Besides Goel, Shyam Jaju, Hansraj Hans, MLA Om Prakash Sharma, Jagdish Pradhan, Devendra Shehrawat, Anil Vajpayee, Roshan Kansal, former MP Anita Arya, Councilors Jai Prakash, Bhupendra Gupta, Himanshi Pandey and other prominent leaders were present at the venue.
Goel said that today's prayer meeting was organized by Lok Abhiyan, RWAs and NGOs; it is a people’s protest to show how those who consider themselves the disciples of Gandhi are today mocking democracy by wrongly blaming the EVMs.
Union Minister Goel made all take an oath that any attack on the democracy of India would not be tolerated and such destructive forces would be fought tooth and nail.
Goel said:
1.Congress had been in the power in the country for several decades, but it never found any fault with the EVMs then. Now when another party else has come to power, the EVMs have suddenly become an eyesore.
2.When the Congress won the elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, the EVMs were good. In 2015 when Kejriwal won the elections in Delhi, the EVMs were good. Why were they good then?
3.EVMs are being used as a pretext to hide the imminent electoral defeat and to shun the public humiliation.
4.The people who say what is wrong in matching the election results with VVPAT would again ask tomorrow that what is wrong in doubling the security on the polling booth. They may also ask why not get four security vans along to secure the EVMs in transit or why not build a strong room whose has multiple walls. There is no answer to such questions.
5.Every day some or another technical issue is being raked up so that elections lose their credibility. They are trying to invalidate the votes of 90 crore people.
6.UP politicians were found to be saying that the EVMs which have not been deployed in the elections should also get the same security which the EVMs in use receive. They don’t know that even those machines are secured.
7.The opposition parties were fighting against each other till now. Now they are fighting unitedly on facing their imminent defeat

जागरण संवाददाता, पूर्वी दिल्ली : कस्तूरबा नगर में मृतक एसआइ राजकुमार के परिजनों से मिलने के लिए मंगलवार को केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल पहुंचे। उनके साथ भाजपा शाहदरा के जिलाध्यक्ष राम किशोर शर्मा और पूर्व विधायक जितेंदर सिंह शंटी भी थे। सभी नेताओं ने पीड़ित परिवार को सांत्वना दी और परिजनों से घटना की जानकारी ली। पीड़ित परिवार ने पुलिस की जांच पड़ताल को लेकर सवाल खड़े किए, साथ ही इलाके में हो रही मादक पदार्थो की बिक्री पर पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंध लगाने की मांग की।
परिवार से मिलने के बाद विजय गोयल ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि एसआइ राजकुमार की हत्या करने वाले अपराधी को कड़ी सजा मिलनी चाहिए। परिवार वालों ने मंत्री को बताया कि अपराधियों को शक था कि राजकुमार शराब और सट्टे की शिकायत पुलिस से करते थे, इसलिए राजकुमार पर हमला हुआ। उन्होंने कहा पुलिस ने हमला करने वाले आरोपित भूरी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस उससे सख्ती से पूछताछ करे तो पता लग सकता है कि उससे हमला किसने करवाया। गोयल ने इस बात पर चिता व्यक्त की कि इलाके में पुलिस चौकी होने के बावजूद पुलिस अपराध पर अंकुश नहीं लगा पा रही है। गोयल ने एसीपी और थानाध्यक्ष से कहा कि सीसीटीवी फुटेज देखने से पता चलता है कि हमले और झगड़े के कारण ही राजकुमार को हार्ट अटैक हुआ।
उन्होंने कहा कि कस्तूरबा नगर में जहां भी जहां शराब और सट्टे का अवैध कारोबार चल रहा है, उसके खिलाफ तुरंत सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। इसके अलावा दिल्ली में जहां-जहां शराब और सट्टा चल रहा है, वहां भी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। गोयल ने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार पुलिसकर्मी की मौत पर एक करोड़ रुपये देती थी, इस मामले में चुप क्यों है। दिल्ली सरकार का कोई भी मंत्री या नेता अब तक पीड़ित परिवार से मिलने नहीं पहुंचा। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि मुख्यमंत्री को केवल अपनी सुरक्षा की चिता है, बाकी आम जनता की सुरक्षा पर दिल्ली सरकार की क्या कोई योजना नहीं है।

मांगें मानने का लिखित आश्वासन मिलने के बाद हिंदूराव अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों ने दूसरे दिन मंगलवार को अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल खत्म कर दी। इस दौरान केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल और उत्तरी दिल्ली नगर निगम के महापौर अवतार सिंह भी मौजूद रहे। डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि मंगलवार दोपहर उन्हें दो माह का वेतन दे दिया गया।

तीन माह से वेतन न मिलने के कारण सोमवार को डॉक्टरों ने अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल का एलान किया था। हड़ताल के दौरान मरीजों को परेशानी न हो इसके लिए उन्होंने बाहर ही ओपीडी सेवा शुरू कर दी। दोपहर को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद को पत्र लिखकर सामूहिक आत्मदाह करने की मंजूरी मांगी थी। डॉक्टरों के तेवर तल्ख होते देखकर सरकारी महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया। सियासी गलियारों तक भी डॉक्टरों की आवाज पहुंची। मंगलवार सुबह केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल डॉक्टरों से मिलने अस्पताल पहुंचे। काफी देर बातचीत के बाद उन्होंने वेतन के अलावा अन्य मांगें पूरा करने का आश्वासन दिया।
कुछ देर बाद ही डॉक्टरों के फोन पर वेतन आने की जानकारी मिली। इसके बाद हड़ताल खत्म कर काम पर लौटने का निर्णय लिया। दोपहर 1 बजे अस्पताल के आपातकालीन विभाग में डॉक्टर मरीजों के उपचार के लिए पहुंचे। उधर, इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन, दिल्ली मेडिकल एसोसिएशन, फोर्डा सहित तमाम चिकित्सक संगठन का भी इन्हें समर्थन मिलता चला गया। फोर्डा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष डॉ. सुमेध ने कहा कि डॉक्टरों को वेतन न मिलना चिकित्सीय क्षेत्र के लिए अत्यंत शर्मिंदगी का विषय है। दिन-रात कम संसाधनों के बाद भी मरीजों की सेवा करते हैं, लेकिन उनकी कोई सुनने वाला नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में इस तरह का मामला सामने आता है तो उसके खिलाफ बड़े स्तर पर धना-प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।
Business Standard- Hindu Rao resident doctors call off strike
Resident doctors of the NDMC-run Hindu Rao hospital called off their strike on Tuesday, a day after launching an indefinite stir over non-payment of salaries, as an "arrangement" was reached to disburse their dues, an official said.
The strike by the doctors, who claimed they had not been paid salaries for three months, had partially hit health services at the hospital.
NDMC officials had said the salaries could not be paid due to delay in release of funds by the Delhi government, which released around Rs 206 crore to the cash-strapped municipal corporation on Monday.
"The strike was called off as an arrangement was reached about their salaries and payment of arrears… It was done in the presence of Union minister Vijay Goel and North Delhi Mayor Avtar Singh," a senior North Delhi Municipal Corporation official said.
The official said salaries for the month of March have been released and are also being paid for April.
"As per the charter of demands put up by resident doctors' association, the demand for arrears will be put up to the competent authority for release, as soon as possible," he said.
Union minister Goel in his tweet in Hindi said the strike was called off Tuesday.
"…The salaries of two months have been credited in their accounts, and the salary for the third month will be deposited sooner or later. And no action shall be taken against these doctors," he wrote on Twitter.
Protesting delay in payment of salaries for three months, the resident doctors on Monday had said that the hospital should be handed over to the Central government, if the local government and the municipal corporation are unable to run it properly.
"It's not just a question of three months' salary, we are facing this recurring problem. The Delhi government and NDMC should give up this hospital if they cannot ensure regular payment of staff.
"We need a permanent solution of the problem and the authorities should hand over the hospital to the Central government if they can not run it properly," Rahul Chaudhary, president of hospital's Resident Doctors Association, had said.
The doctors had also complained about poor facilities, like non-availability of potable water and residential facilities for them.
The facilities at outdoor patients' department (OPD) and wards of the 1,200-bed hospital were affected partially due to the strike, before it was called off about at 1pm.

New Delhi, May 21, 2019: Owing to step-motherly treatment to the BJP-
ruled Municipal Corporations of Delhi (MCD) by the Kejriwal government
by not releasing funds on time, resident doctors of the Hindu Rao hospital
had gone on strike after they failed to receive their salaries for the past
three months. Union Minister and former BJP Delhi President Vijay Goel
said that the Kejriwal government should be ashamed that it is not letting
the municipal corporations function.
Goel met the resident doctors today who were on strike for the past four
days because they had not received their three-month salaries. East Delhi
MCD Mayor Avtar Singh was also with him.
Goel sat along with the doctors on strike for the three hours during which
he talked to the Municipal Commissioner Versha Joshi and asked Hindu
Rao Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Sangita Ajmani to come down to
the strike site. He later held several rounds of talks with doctors over their
demands.
Goel didn’t leave the strike site until the time two-month salaries of the
resident doctors got credited into their bank accounts. Following this, he
asked the Medical Superintendent of the Hindu Rao hospital to assure the
doctors that their third-month salaries too will be credited in their
accounts either today or at most tomorrow. Their demand for the release
of arrears would be put up to the competent authority. Goel also
informed that no punitive action would be taken against doctors who had
been on strike. Resident doctors were also assured that their other,
sixteen demands would also be discussed and resolved amicably in
consultation with the members of RDA and Commissioner and Addl.
