Goel will lead the campaign organised by Unorganised Colony Mahasangh;
Electing BJP in the State government is the only solution to regularise unauthorised colonies.

New Delhi, August 17, 2019: MP and former BJP Delhi President, Vijay Goel, will expose the double standards and betrayal of Kejriwal government to 60 lakh residents of unauthorised colonies. This campaign will be organised under the aegis of “Unadhikrit Colony Mahasangh”. The Mahasangh in 2008 had organised a large scale rally in the Ramleela Maidan against the Congress for duping residents of unauthorised colonies by distributing provisional certificates. This campaign is needed because the Kejriwal government is pulling a similar political gimmick. A rally will be organised at the Talkatora stadium.
Goel said that from tomorrow he will start the “unauthorized colony chalo abhiyaan” in lieu of his “park chalo abhiyaan”. Delhi Government’s revenue minister, Kailash Gehlot, has misled the residents of unauthorised colonies by stating that they will start the registration of these colonies from tomorrow. In truth, the revenue department cannot even take a step towards registration until the Central Government releases the rules on regularisation.
Goel said that the residents of unauthorised colonies should comprehend that this is a very complicated matter and its solution requires sustained cooperation from Central Government, Delhi Government, and the Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Goel said that in order to find a permanent solution to the problems of uauthorised colonies, there is a need to elect BJP government in the State on the lines of Centre and Municipal Corporation, Delhi.
He said that the Kejriwal government wasted five years in maligning the Central government. If Kejriwal would have been serious towards the welfare of residents of unauthorised colonies, he would have demarcated the boundaries of these colonies and had come up with a layout plan for these colonies. In order to further his vote bank politics, Kejriwal is announcing decisions after decisions which he will again fail to implement. A few days back, he announced free bus rides for women from 29th October onwards, but by then Delhi elections will be announced. He has already wasted significant amount of exchequers money on advertising free metro rides for women.
Goel said that Delhi government has failed to bring relief to unauthorised colonies. It is the Central Government which constituted a committee under the Lt. Governor on giving ownership rights to residents of unauthorised colonies, and recommending amendments in rules concerning the same. The Delhi government even failed to demarcate the boundaries, and that now this should be done by the DDA.
The other commendable step taken up by the Committee under Lt Governor is to provide better amenities to improve the living standard of these residents. Kejriwal government only wants to steal credits of the work undertaken by the Central Government. Goel said that he will mobilize the unauthorised colonies in the similar manner as he had done for the group housing societies at the Talkatora Stadium. His efforts for these societies have started materializing, and their survey has been started.

Goel welcomes Kapil Mishra to BJP;
New Delhi, August 17, 2019: Former Union Minister and MP, Vijay Goel,
welcomed Kapil Mishra who was the minister in the AAP government, to the
Bhartiya Janta Party.
Goel said that Kapil Mishra is a talented person. When I had raised voice
against corruption in 2010 commonwealth games, Kapil Mishra had invited me
to his NGO to release a book on corruption in commonwealth games” which I
had gladly accepted. Even then, I had asked him to join the BJP but he
expressed disinclination towards joining politics back then and wanted to do
social work only.
He said that Kapil Mishra had joined the Aam Aadmi Party to fight corruption,
however, when he saw the corruption within the AAP, he decided to part his
ways with the party.
BJP will be strengthened with Kapil Mishra’s presence because he has a very
deep understanding of Delhi’s problems. When Mishra was in the Aam Aadmi
Party, even then he used to discuss issues plaguing the city with me. I hope that
along with Mishra, other members of AAP will also join the BJP.

Goel requests people to find and help these unsung freedom fighters.

New Delhi, August 16, 2019: On the occasion of Independence Day, MP and former Delhi
BJP President, Vijay Goel, and Union Minister, Santosh Gangwar honoured the 91 year old
freedom fighter Narayan Das Kalra.
Goel said that Shri Narayan Das Kalra runs a helmet and puncture shop in Paharganj which
is in the vicinity of Goel’s old parliamentary constituency. Commending the grit and resolve
of Narayan Das Kalra, who is leading a fight against corruption at 91 years age, Goel said
that he found out through media reports that Kalra has even refused to take freedom fighters
pension. Therefore, Lok Abhiyan decided to felicitate Narayan Das with a shawl, garland and
a memento.
Santosh Gangwar, Union Minister, said that Narayan Das Kalra has contributed to the
wedding of 83 girls. He also said that Narayan Das is ever keen to fight against corruption
and injustice and has helped multiple people in their fight.
Goel said that Narayan Das Kalra is an ardent follower of PM Modi Ji. His shop has so many
slogans praising Modi ji like “modi tere ache kaam, vishv kare bharat ko pranaam”, “baat
ka dhani”, “swacch bharat”, “sabka sath, sabka vikas”, “beti bachao, beti padhao”, “kala
dhan ugalwane ka pakka wayada”.
Goel said that these unsung freedom fighters will be commemorated and honoured from time
to time through “Lok Abhiyan”. Lok Abhiyan will also provide aid and assistance to freedom
fighters. He also requested people to help Lok Abhiyan find these unsung freedom fighters.
Narayan Das Kalra has lived in Jhang district of Pakistan and has participated in campaigns
by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji. He continues to be a source of inspiration at 91 years.

DDA’s decision to renew lease of Nazul estates will bring relief to businesspersons and residents in Old Delhi- Goel

New Delhi, August 14, 2019: MP and former BJP Delhi President, Vijay Goel, praised the decisions taken by the Delhi Development Authority. Goel labeled this decision to be “people friendly decision” by the DDA which is under the authority of Modi Government. 
Goel said that Rohini which is the largest residential colony in Delhi, residents had constructed houses by merging their small plots. Since the DDA had not approved the merging of these small plots, several residents were facing problems in registry and regularization of these houses because this was illegal under the previous DDA norms. At that time, Goel had raised their concerns to the DDA and Lt. Governor and had asked them to amend the master plan 2021. Goel said that he is glad that his amendments to the Master Plan 2021 were accepted and that the amalgamation of these small plots upto 200 sq-m has been approved. This decision will benefit approximately 3-4 lakh residents of Rohini.
Goel said that there are thousands of Nazul Estate properties like Sadar Bazaar, Paharganj, Karol Bagh etc. in Delhi whose 90 years lease has expired. People not only do business from these Nazul estates, they also reside here. These people have been facing the problem because their 90 years lease had expired. Goel has been demanding renewal of expired leases for many years. He expressed satisfaction that the DDA has extended the timeline of renewal of leases of Nazul estates. This will bring relief to the businesspersons and residents of Nazul estates, it will also contribute to the planned development of Old Delhi. Goel demanded that the renewal and conversion charges to be kept reasonable.

Appreciating the decisions taken by the DDA, Goel said that the BJP Government at the Centre has been taking commendable steps to resolve issues faced by the residents of Delhi.
