Delhi Government should be suspended

Union Minister of State and former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed the constitutional breakdown caused by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Shri Goel said that a Chief Minister who runs from his responsibilities and back to back insults the Constitution of India has no right to stay as a Chief Minister and should be immediately removed.Shri Goel informed that this demand is not only from his side but also from the people of Delhi who are facing punishment for helping in forming the Aam Admi Party Government.Delhi has gone thirty years back on the scale of development.

Shri Goel has said that Kejriwal Government asserts that in the list three years they have not been allowed to work, that means they agree they have done no work.It implies that this Government has no right to stay even for a minute.

Shri Goel said that when leaders of AAP use abusive words for the Prime Minister and use words like ‘Thulla’ for the constable then how do they expect that the people will cooperate with them.First they physically assault Government officials and even the Chief Secretary is not spared and then they use unacceptable and abusive words for the LG.Simultaneously they also expect that the LG should instruct officers to cooperate with them.

Shri Goel said that the officers of the Delhi Government are not on strike and are doing their work despite the low morale environment prevailing in Delhi Government.Goel informed that Kejriwal has even stopped the necessary funding of all the three Municipal Corporations. His main mantra is ‘not to do any work and will not let anyone to do their work’.FIR would have been filed by the Police in case any other person would have forcefully occupied the LG’s office.Till now LG has maintained patience keeping in mind the sanctity of the CM post on one side Kejriwal appeals for intervention of the Prime Minister and on the other he criticises the PM and calls for ‘Gherao’.

Former Delhi BJP President & Union Minister Vijay Goel holds Chai Pe Charcha with slum dwellers of Delhi to understand their problems

: Former Delhi BJP President and Union Minister Shri Vijay Goel today organized a Chai Pe Charcha (Discussion over tea) at his residence with scores of slum dwellers from various Delhi slums to understand their problems and issues that have been ignored by the Kejriwal led Delhi government. The slum dwellers voiced their opinion on the current condition and prevailing scenario in their respective slums and how the conditions have transformed from bad to worse in recent times.
During today’s Chai Pe Charcha it was proved that the Kejriwal led AAP has failed to provide clean drinking water, sanitation levels in these particular areas have declined causing serious and grave health issues. There is lack of any proper education system for the young ones of these slums and that puts a further question mark on their future. Noor Alam from Chilla area slum near Mayur Vihar voiced his concern regarding illegal alcohol being sold in the area that has led to increase in crime rates and many more social issues. Santosh from Lakshmibai Nagar raised the similar issue of alcohol, drugs and gambling in the area along with civic issues like lack of sanitation and almost zero water supply. Many other slum dwellers raised their voice on Kejriwal’s lack of interest in resolving their issues.

Goel said that he will very soon initiate a “Slum Padyatra” to highlight the problems faced by these slum dwellers and how Kejriwal has failed to live up to the expectations and broken multiple promises made during elections.
Goel further stated that on one hand the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre is leaving no stone unturned to uplift and empower marginalized and weaker sections while on the other hand, Kejriwal led AAP which had promised a number of amenities for the slum dwellers has done nothing other than wasting public money on publicity and fake propaganda to show a picture that is not reflected on-ground.

Union Min. & Former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel slams Kejriwal for Delhi’s poor show in CBSE 10th Board Exams

Union Minister and Former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel today slammed Delhi CM Kejriwal for his inaction and lack of proper planning in improving Delhi’s education system as a result of which Delhi students have performed poorly as compared to other states. According to latest data, Delhi Region is among the worst performances with only 78.6 % pass percentage.

Goel said that the performance report card for CBSE Class 10th board examinations is out and it is not too re-assuring. Goel stated, “Of the 10 regions, Delhi Region is amongst the worst performers with only about 78.60% students recording a pass grade. Other regions have also performed much better than Delhi Region. Chennai has recorded a pass percentage of 97.37% whereas Ajmer has recorded a pass percentage 91.86%. Foreign Schools have recorded a pass percentage of 98.32%.”

Goel added that this is due to Kejriwal led Delhi government’s poor planning and lack of vision which is hampering the future of students. Goel also slammed Kejriwal and his team for engaging in publicity and drum-beating rather than on-ground action. Earlier this month, Goel had exposed how one particular Delhi government school in Delhi’s Mustafabad had no space for students but 2000 students are compelled to study under the same roof with almost zero amenities.

Goel emphasized that Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia highlight one swimming pool or one so-called state of the art school building whereas the on-ground reality is quite grim as there is no proper roadmap to revamp the Capital’s education system. “They must act before it’s way too late”, Goel added.

Havelis of Chandni Chowk being destroyed says Union Minister & Former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel

Union Minister and former Delhi BJP President Sh. Vijay
Goel today wrote a letter to North MCD Commissioner after being informed by local
residents about demolition of certain havelis in the Kucha Paati Ram area of Sitaram
Bazar in Chandni Chowk. Goel said, “I am deeply pained with the alarming situation
prevailing in the precincts of Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi. It is one of the oldest
heritage city built in the 17 th Century but is now on the verge of being destroyed by
unauthorised construction and demolition of historical structures which cannot be
rebuilt in their actual form.”
Goel stated that the MCD Commissioner must visit these spots and take immediate
corrective measures. Goel further stated that Chandni Chowk in recent times has
witnessed rapid unauthorised and illegal constructions capable of altering the basic
character of this Heritage City. “Havelis are being destroyed and converted into
commercial complexes. The traditional look and feel of Chandni Chowk is being
played with blatantly and no effort has been made for heritage protection and
conservation. The roads, by lanes and streets have been mercilessly encroached upon
and there is no plan by the Delhi Government, Shahjahanabad Development
Corporation and the local Government i.e. North Delhi Municipal Corporation to
restore the area to its glorious past.” Goel added.
Goel expressed deep concern with the prevailing scenario of Chandni Chowk and
emphasized that the current situation in which the Chandni Chowk finds itself is only
because of connivance of officials of various authorities responsible for the
governance and upkeep of this Heritage City. He said, “There is no policy for the
safeguard of the unprotected Heritage Buildings from destruction, illegal construction
or encroachment.”
Goel said that there is a need to constitute a heritage cell for Chandni Chowk for the
conservation and promotion of heritage structures. He also mentioned that Chandni
Chowk is endowed with rich Cultural Heritage and it is our duty to protect the same
and restore it to its past glory and with these efforts Chandni Chowk will surely
become a major tourist destination.
