Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel has asked the government to save water bodies in the Delhi. He demanded a white paper on acute shortage of drinking water in the city. ‘The water problem of the city is due to shrinking water water bodies in the city,’ said Goel during a visit to Sanjay Ganhi Lake in east Delhi.

Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel has supported the movement of over 2,000 public schools in the city which are facing closure due to the small size of plots. Addressing a rally near the Vidhan Sabha on Monday, Goel said the quality of education must be the criterion for schools, not the size of the plots. The government must do something to save the career of thousands of students studying in these schools, he said.

As the deadline for closure of schools that do not meet specific guidelines under the Right To Education Act, 2009, drew near, hundreds of schools managers, teachers and parents of students of unrecognised schools located in rehabilitated colonies, slums and the walled city gathered at Delhi Vidhan Sabha to protest. The agitation was led by Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel.

Several members of Bharatiya Janata Party, lead by party's Delhi chief Vijay Goel, were detained at Tughlaq Road police station on Saturday when they were marching to Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's residence to protest against high power tariff. Before he was detained, Goel told the protesters that there was a collusion between power distribution companies and the Delhi government.

New Delhi: Scores of BJP activists led by Delhi unit chief Vijay Goel on Saturday courted arrest here today while protesting against power tariff hike in front of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit's residence. Upping the ante, Goel alleged that power tariff in the city was being hiked frequently at the "behest" of the Chief and challenged her for a public debate on the issue.

पूर्वी दिल्ली (एसएनबी)। भाजपा दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष विजय गोयल ने शुक्रवार को खिचड़ीपुर स्थित तीन नम्बर ब्लॉक में नवनिर्मित समुदाय भवन का उद्घाटन किया। इस मौके पर भाजपा नेता ओम प्रकाश कोहली, पूर्वी दिल्ली की महापौर अन्नपूर्णा मिश्रा, विधायक अमरीश सिंह गौतम, शाहदरा साउथ जोन के चेयरमैन देवेन्द्र कुमार, पार्षद मनोज त्यागी, पूर्व पार्षद तेजपाल सिंह सहित कई गण्यमान्य लोग मौजूद थे। समारोह की अध्यक्षता निगम पार्षद व सदस्य स्थायी समिति राजकुमार ढिल्लो ने की। प्रदेश अध्यक्ष विजय गोयल ने कहा कि निगम व प्रदेश सरकार को मिलकर जनता के हित के लिए काम करना चाहिए तभी दिल्ली का विकास तेजी से होगा। उन्होंने कहा अक्सर विकास योजनाएं या निर्माण बड़े जोर-शोर से उच्च गुणवत्ता के साथ शुरू होती हैं किन्तु कुछ ही समय बाद रखरखाव के अभाव में वह अपना मूल रूप खो देती है इसलिए जरूरी है कि जब कोई परियोजना तैयार की जाये तो उसके रख-रखाव के लिए भी प्रयोजन किया जाये ताकि वर्षों तक उसकी सेवाएं निर्धारित स्तर पर यथावत उपलब्ध रहें। महापौर ने कहा कि इस तरह के भवन के निर्माण से नागरिक अपने सामाजिक समारोहों का आयोजन सुगमता के साथ बेहतर रूप में कर सकेंगे। समारोह की अध्यक्षता करते हुए निगम पार्षद राजकुमार ढिल्लो ने बताया कि इस समुदाय भवन का निर्माण लगभग एक करोड़ रुपए की लागत से हुआ है। ये भवन तीन मंजिला है जो 589 वर्गमीटर के क्षेत्रफल में बना है। अब क्षेत्रीय नागरिकों को उत्कृष्ट सुविधाएं उनके घर के निकट ही उपलब्ध होंगीं जिसके लिए उन्हें अब तक दूर-दराज के क्षेत्र में जाना पड़ता था।

The Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said the budget announced on Wednesday had no vision for Delhi's future and accused the government of a lack of interest in developing the state.BJP's state chief Vijay Goel said Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who also holds the Finance portfolio, has repeated old projects in her budget speech to cover up for lack of new ones. 

The Delhi BJP on Saturday warned the power regulator of a massive agitation if it goes ahead with another tariff hike in the city. Alleging a major fraud in the power sector, Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel said that they had set a deadline of March 21 for the regulator to answer its questions on submission of fudged data of power discoms.
